Lawrence and Long Architects was established by Joe Lawrence and Pierre Long in 2005.

The practice aspires to produce work of high quality and significant architectural merit. In approaching all projects, particular attention is placed in developing Client briefs mindful of budget constraints and in providing elegant design solutions.

Each project is underpinned by a careful and sensitive approach combining sustainable technologies and use of quality building materials.

Particular emphasis is placed on exploiting daylight and natural ventilation to promote wellbeing and reduce energy dependency. The practice is a fully registered member of the RIAI (Royal Institute of the Architects in Ireland).

Joe Lawrence

Joe Lawrence has been a  member of the RIAI  since 1999 and is a current member of the AAI (Architectural Association of Ireland) and an RIAI accredited,  Conservation Grade II Architect.

Prior to setting up Lawrence and Long Architects, Joe worked with architectural offices in Australia and the United States. In Dublin, Joe worked at de Blacam and Meagher Architects on a variety of award winning residential, retail and office projects, which have won RIAI, AAI and Europa Nostra Awards.

Pierre Long

Pierre Long is a member of RIAI and RIBA (Royal Institute of British Architects) and teaches at the School of Architecture at University College Dublin. Pierre has worked in Paris , London and on award winning projects with De Blacam and Meagher Archtiects throughout Ireland prior to setting up Lawrence and Long Architects.

Pierre has a particular interest in educational and residential projects through his involvement with projects at Roscrea College, University College Dublin and Galway Mayo Institute of Technology.

Amélie Conway

Pierre Long is a member of RIAI and RIBA (Royal Institute of British Architects) and teaches at the School of Architecture at University College Dublin. Thomas Comerford

Thomas was educated at Dublin Institute of Technology and . He received a BArch (Hons) from DIT in 2011. Since joining Lawrence and Long Architects in 2012 he has worked on private houses and retail.

Helen Kelly

Helen was educated at University College Dublin. She received a BArch (Hons) from UCD in 2009. Since joining Lawrence and Long Architects in 2012 she has worked on private houses, conservation projects and retail.
